Gatherings offer opportunities to connect and strengthen community. During the curriculum year, gatherings will bring all of our EPIC Community Rings together: Seeds, Roots, Pollinators and Forest. These gatherings are nourishing, inviting us to create bonds with one another, share food, learn together, seek support, celebrate and collectively continue to build our centre, aligned with our core values. With the current public health restrictions related to Covid-19 this is looking quite different for the community. We look forward to a time when we can return to meeting regularly and enjoy the time we have to connect with each other at drop off and pick up of our children.
Annual General Meeting, December 17, 2020
Mark your calendars for EPIC’s AGM, December 17, 8-9pm via Zoom. Our short business agenda includes the presentation of financial statements, appointing an interim financial director, and reviewing any necessary bylaws. The business portion will be followed by a family celebration to mark the end of the fall season and celebrate as a community. Stay tuned for more details.
EPIC Info Night, January 29, 2021
Please save-the-date for an EPIC info session on January 29, 2021, from 7-9pm on Zoom
This will be an opportunity to meet Seed Members and current families, learn about our school and community (we will provide a powerpoint presentation), and get your questions answered. Zoom is not our preferred method of communication. We would much rather be on the land connecting with you, but given the numbers likely to attend, we anticipate needing to meet virtually. This being said, we will adapt if it feels possible! RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Welcome Day February, 2021
Interested in EPIC for next year? Want to get a small taste of an EPIC day? Bring your children to meet some of our learning team and community, visit one of our sites at St. George’s, and learn more about our unique program at EPIC’s Welcome Day! We look forward to connecting with you! Stay tuned for more details.
Attendance is highly encouraged for those interested in enrolling.
